I know, I know.....it's not part of the 10 written on stone.

Some people "re-gift" .......BUT you should not regift to God...!!!

2Sa 24:23 I will give it all to you, Your Majesty, and may the LORD your God accept your sacrifice."

2Sa 24:24 But the king replied to Araunah, "No, I insist on buying it, for I will not present burnt offerings to the LORD my God that have cost me nothing." So David paid him fifty pieces of silver [fn] for the threshing floor and the oxen.

Neat!

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Every day is a gift, and I regift it to God.

What I understood in the OP, is that we should not be afraid to give our BEST, even sacrificially, to the Lord. That could even extend to those around us, instead of cleaning out the closet and giving out those things that are outdated or that you don't need anyway.

WOW Gail, you scored a home run on that one! My first reaction was Yes, Yes. Second: But, please, not my new fur jacket that Ol' Santa just brought me.

Is this one of those gray areas ... can we pick and choose? Or, do we determine by the needs and circumstances
