Moderators Bravus Posted February 25, 2012 Moderators Posted February 25, 2012 Facebook friends will know I attended a job interview yesterday. I think it went fairly well, so now it's just waiting in suspense for a few days to see if I get the offer. I currently work at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, and the interview was at Griffith University, for a position on the Gold Coast campus. It's only about an hour's drive away, but we'll move closer if I get the job. It's in an area closer to the beach and closer to our younger daughter for lifestyle reasons, and it seems like a more dynamic university with more prospects to both work closely with schools (which is an important part of the work I like) and for me to lead and support colleagues. It wouldn't be terrible to stay where I am, but it would be great to move on... and do more walking on the beach! Quote Truth is important
