Administrators Naomi Posted March 1, 2012 Administrators Posted March 1, 2012 I learned .......... Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
Woody Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I will learn. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Administrators Gail Posted March 1, 2012 Administrators Posted March 1, 2012 I don't know if I ever reach the stage of "all I ever needed to know" I love to learn, even if it's lessons from life Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Administrators Naomi Posted March 1, 2012 Author Administrators Posted March 1, 2012 Bible School and Kindergarten. The rest is only building blocks Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
Administrators Naomi Posted March 2, 2012 Author Administrators Posted March 2, 2012 Yes, that is where we are supposed to learn to play nicely, share our toys, etc. In Bible School we learn that Jesus loves everyone; black, white, red, yellow, etc. Isn't that what being good adults are supposed to do? That's why I believe everything after Bible School & Kindergarden is simply building on what we learn there. "Train up a child in the way that he/she should go ..." thoughts? ........ Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
Neil D Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 For me, all I ever needed to know, I learned from my dog.... All I Really Need to Know I Learned from my Dog Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride. Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy. When loved ones come home, always run to greet them. Take naps and stretch before rising. Run, romp, and play daily. Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not. Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it. When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently. Thrive on affection and let people touch you - enjoy back rubs and pats on your neck. When you leave your yard, make it an adventure. Avoid biting when a simple growl will do. No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and pout - run right back and make friends. Bond with your pack. On cold nights, curl up in front of a crackling fire. When you're excited, speak up. When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body. Delight in the simple joy of a long walk. Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. George Bernard Shaw

If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

M. T. Cross Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Well when I opened the trunk to see which one still liked me the dog was really happy. He tried to jump over the wife to lick me. Sadly that was at the same time she was reaching out to strangle me. She hit the dog by accident doing that and he tried to bite her but got me instead. Then as they were both scrampling out of the trunk to get at me for their own personal reasons they got tangled up and fell on me which made me fall and hit my head. This caused a strange reaction in me that made me run in random circles and I slammed into a big pine tree. That made me stagger back towards the porch. For some reason in my dazed state I crawled under the porch ( I assume for safety ) where apparently we have a skunk living. It sprayed me directly in the face before scrambling over me causing several deep lacerations. The skunk ran into the dog and came running back under the porch, over me again causing several more deep lacerations. I'm not sure how but I got out from under the porch and staggered across the yard. I'm assuming the wife got ahold of me cause I woke up face down in the trunk sometime later.......... none of this story is true, but it is what I envision would happen if I tried to lock the wife in the trunk with the dog.....
