skyblue888 Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 What is so great about that article? Quote "The merits of His sacrifice are sufficient to present to the Father in our behalf." S.C.36.
skyblue888 Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 How does it make sense to you? Can you tell? sky Quote "The merits of His sacrifice are sufficient to present to the Father in our behalf." S.C.36.
M. T. Cross Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 It makes sense that he was writing about what he saw at the time, what he saw happening to the world around him, to what he found safe. Quote
skyblue888 Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 It makes sense to you what this article says about the book of Revelation? Quote "The merits of His sacrifice are sufficient to present to the Father in our behalf." S.C.36.
M. T. Cross Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Yes, or my other theory is that the author picked the wrong kind of mushrooms for his supper. Quote
Members phkrause Posted March 6, 2012 Members Posted March 6, 2012 It was an interesting read, but very obviously not a good understanding of the Book. First how can it be a "hollywood ending" when the book of Revelation came first? Maybe sunday school students would think so, but I hope and pray that every Sabbath keeping SDA and Jew, etc. doesn't. As far as "not a happy ending" is concerned, if we have any knowledge beyond hollywood make believe, we know that the ending is most definitely the Happiest ending that this earth will ever see. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
M. T. Cross Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Yes, or my other theory is that the author picked the wrong kind of mushrooms for his supper. By the way I don't say that flippantly, it reminds me a lot of the type of things some people see while on hallucinogenic drugs. Quote
Dr. Rich Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 How sad to see how many people have no clue as to what the Father revealed to His Son so that the Son could reveal this same information to those living bondservants at the end of time. Does anyone really care anymore, or does anyone really WANT to know what it was that the Father revealed to His Son? I sit here shaking my head wondering why others don't want to know this information because all they have to do is ASK for the insight and the widom to understand that insight. Problem is, that anyone who know believes in and practices a lie will NEVER be able to understand because Dan. 12:10 proves that NONE of the wicked will ever understand! This is why knowing the truth and practicing it is so important. Perhaps that is who only a FEW, as found in Rev. 3:4 (the 144k) will actually overcome the world, be sealed by God and know what Revelation is truely about. Quote
