Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted March 9, 2012 Administrators Posted March 9, 2012 Some useful thoughts even for handling conflict on these forums... Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)

doug yowell Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Some good points, some nebuluous points. I wish the article would have given a couple of examples of it's recommendations in action. The tension of Acts 15 was briefly cited but never expanded on as a model. In our modern culture time seems to be critical and so many difficulties are expected to be solved in an hour or two or perhaps a couple of meetings. Works well in the movies but not so effectively in real life. Also we often project urgency and ignore the haste makes waste warning. The article seemed to focus more on attitudes rather than principles.Like life itself committee meetings are not always predictable.
