Woody Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 How has getting to know Jesus - changed your life? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
CoAspen Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 What brought about the change? What have you retained from your previous belief system? Quote
Administrators Naomi Posted March 12, 2012 Administrators Posted March 12, 2012 I suppose this would encompass many questions, but tell us about his conversion experience. How did it come about, etc. Has he experienced many objections from his family and friends? Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
Members phkrause Posted March 12, 2012 Members Posted March 12, 2012 Praise the Lord, Stan, that's great. Looks like most of the questions that I had in mind are already covered. Is this going to be something we will get to see at some point? Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted March 12, 2012 Members Posted March 12, 2012 my questions might depend on where the person was a Muslim cleric, and if he grew up in a predominantly Muslim society.. I wouldn't want to place the individual in a dangerous situation by asking him questions which could offend his [likely] Muslim relatives and/or neighbors/acquaintances.. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Stan Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 He was in charge of islamic studies for parts of Asia out of the Iranian Embassy in Japan. Gordon1 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Yes Stan. 1) I'd like to hear his conversion story too. 2) And please ask your friend how he reconciled accepting the Trinity issue - a complex matter for Muslims and Jews. 3) And how does he feel about Canada making preparations to attack Iran with other NATO countries, and the threat of a nuclear or World War. Moderators Bravus Posted March 13, 2012 Moderators Posted March 13, 2012 I think many people would be interested in some discussion about how Muslims view Jesus: which would perhaps segue into the transformation of his perspective. Quote Truth is important
Members phkrause Posted March 13, 2012 Members Posted March 13, 2012 Bravus, 3ABN has a 13 part series titled "Descendants of Abraham." Really good answers a lot of questions. Also I believe Whitehorse Ministries has something about Muslims. There are others, but don't recall the names, if I find any others I'll try posting. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
