Moderators Gerr Posted March 19, 2012 Moderators Posted March 19, 2012 Would working on Sunday in the midst of Sunday-keeping neighbors be a positive or negative witness? Quote
Administrators Naomi Posted March 19, 2012 Administrators Posted March 19, 2012 I don't think it would present an issue for my neighbors as most of them work (or shop) on Sunday ... either on jobs or at home or farm. Some will not work until after church after noon when Church services are over. Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
Gibs Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Some of my neighbors may put on their "bib and tucker" on easter but otherwise work as much as I do on Sunday. I suppose when it is an issue brought forth, do only as they do and keep em happy. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Windsor Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 An issue 100 years ago perhaps but I've yet to meet a Sunday keeper that keeps Sunday "holy". Quote Remember Adventists Online?
Woody Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I have a friend who admired how I kept Sabbath. I encouraged him to try to keep Sunday as I keep Sabbath. He thought it would be good for his family. As a Catholic - he had no idea what to do. But I gave him some ideas and he did it for awhile. I'm not really sure how long he stuck with it. But I suspect it was his family that kinda vetoed it eventually. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
