Members phkrause Posted March 24, 2012 Members Posted March 24, 2012 A kindergarten teacher gave her class a "show and tell" assignment. Each student was instructed to bring in an object to share with the class that represented their religion. The first student got up in front of the class and said, "My name is Benjamin and I am Jewish and this is a Star of David."The second student got up in front of the class and said, "My name is Mary. I'm a Catholic and this is the Crucifix." The third student got in up front of the class and said, " My name is Tommy and I am Baptist and this is a casserole." Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Administrators Naomi Posted March 24, 2012 Administrators Posted March 24, 2012 Them ARE some eaters, them baptists. Your statement makes me smile due to a memory. A Baptist friend went to church with me one Sabbath. When I took her home her daughter called and it was evident that she was asking what it was like in the Adventist church. My friend said, "Oh, they are just like we are. They sing, pray, have Bible study, some preaching and singing; then they eat." Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
