Church Manual p. 176 Come on - our church is actually putting it's foot down and demanding we obey scripture? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Church Manual p. 176 Come on - our church is actually putting it's foot down and demanding we obey scripture? One of the local Seventh-day Adventist churches here does "put its foot down" and demand its congregants obey scripture in regards to divorce--provided the congregants are persons over whom the church suspects it might have any influence. I agree wholeheartedly that the focus first and foremost ought to be on building better marriages, families, and relationships. Quote
