Yes, he gave new meaning to the art community ... love his work!!

The greater loss is to his family, but the world lost a man with much vision and talent.

I was saddened to come home last night from work and learn that he died.

a few years ago i saw 60 MINUTES do a thing on him and i came away with mixed fillings about the man and the interviewer

wasnt sure about his whatever

but he was so very young

All progress in the Spiritual Life is knowing and Loving GOD

"there is non upon earth that I desire besides YOU" PS 73:25

That perspective changes EVERYTHING-suffering and adversity are the means that makes us hungry for GOD. Disapointments will wean us away wordly occupations. Even sin(when repented of) becomes a mechanism to push us closer to HIM as we experience His Love and Forgiveness.

He was known to be a Christian man and much of his art work was about churches and doing illustrations for religious books

It is reported that he had some alcohol issues in the last couple years. Don't know if he resolved that or not.
