Help out MT Ellis Academy again

I entered my dog Taffy in a pet contest. If she wins, my prize money is going to a school that I am very interested in, Mt. Ellis Academy. That is why I am asking for votes. I would love to be able to give the $1,000 prize money to them.

You can vote for her every week through June. That is how long this quarter’s contest runs. We need to get as many votes as possible, because the top vote getters from the 4 quarters of the year are the ones that will have the chance to win. They will choose a winner in January.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for voting.

Taffy is a 13 year old Pom. I got her from the pet adoption center in our town when she was 1. She has brought us so much joy. She is quickly becoming the mascot to all of my friends. Everyone just gravitates to her.

When I saw this pet contest, I thought that it would be fun to enter, and use the prize money for something that I truly believe in - Mt. Ellis.

I was honored to have been able to help Mt. Ellis end up in the #10 spot in the Kohl's Cares contest. The money that they won from Kohl's has helped them be able to get a sewer system.

Mt. Ellis will always have a special place in my heart, as both of my in-laws graduated from there, and many other family members have gone there.

I want this $1,000 to go to Mt. Ellis. Who knows,this might spark another project. I can always dream. :-)

The contest is divided into 4 quarters. This is quarter 2. The leader from last quarter had over 1,000 votes. Taffy is at

185 right now. I know that if we could get her over 1,000, she would definitely be seen. They choose the winner from between the top vote getters, and who the judges like the best.

We can vote weekly between now and the end of June.

I keep thinking back about the incredible time we experienced during the Kohl's contest when EVERYONE came together on behalf of this little school to help them win. I have never seen anything like it. This is just a very small way to do something extra for such an incredible school.
