RUSH: I mentioned Jack Welch earlier. He's the former CEO of General Electric, and he was on Larry Kudlow on CNBC last night. We've got a couple of sound bites. Kudlow said, "Let's talk about the tax increase. Not my favorite subject, but something very much in the news. I want to get your opinion. President Obama out there campaigning for the Buffett Rule put a 30% minimum tax on millionaires, a lot of harsh rhetoric, including Vice President Biden today vilifying rich people. What do you think of this Jack?"

WELCH: You have a choice. One is a centralized government with a clear-cut central control and a European style socialism. That's Obama's plan. Romney's free market capitalism. So on ideology there's a choice. Then you move to leadership style. In leadership, the Obama style is divide and conquer. Today it's the rich hedge fund managers. But let's stop for a minute and go back. It was the insurance executives in health care. It was the bankers in the collapse. It was the oil companies as oil prices go up. It was Congress as things didn't go the way he wanted, and recently it's been the Supreme Court. He's got an enemies list that would make Richard Nixon proud.

RUSH: Jack Welch, the former CEO of General Electric. And he's exactly right. The enemies list, not just of Obama, but the Democrat Party. He's exactly right the way he puts it in perspective here. Things don't go his way, goes out and attacks these people, it's the insurance company, rich hedge fund managers. It was AIG for a while because of bonuses, the banks, oil companies, Congress, Supreme Court. I'll tell you, the reason why it's good to use Nixon, 'cause they hate Nixon. Nixon to them is like Mao Tse-tung was to us, or Castro. Nixon to them, it's like showing Dracula the cloth. You compare The One to Nixon, I mean we'll never see evidence of it, but I guarantee you, behind closed doors they are throwing darts at pictures of Jack Welch. They can't stand that comparison. Kudlow said, "Jack, bluntly, you think Mitt Romney can win this race versus Obama? Would it be good for the economy? Would it be good for the stock market? Is that clear?"

WELCH: It would be great for the country. We'd be a stronger country. We'd have more jobs. We'd have more people getting a piece of the pie, and we wouldn't have this divisive nature that we have with this president, screaming at one group and then screaming at the next group in a high-pitched voice. He was in Florida this week screaming and yelling about rich people. He went after the Supreme Court. We gotta stop this, Larry.

RUSH: Yeah, you know what I want to know is, all of this was knowable about Obama before he was voted for. I don't know how Jack Welch voted. This is not about him. You and I are not surprised by one thing Obama's done, by one thing he said, by how he conducts himself, but there are a lot of people who are, and they're the people for whom I have questions. Where were you, what were you possibly thinking? 'cause none of this should be a surprise to anybody. And Jack said it in the first bite, "Look, we've got to look at the ideology." Exactly right. And once you do that there's no way you could not have agreed with me in hoping Obama failed.

Oh, boy.....let talk about the S word...socialism....that's close to Communism...and we can't have a US become communistic...Our boys have died to fight against Communism...Oh, brother....

First off, Socialism hasn't done the British much harm in thier goverment...and yes, thier's is a socialistic goverment...it's also a Lame Monarchy, but it is socialist goverment...They talk freely, along with the Auzzies...

Second, Obama's style of leadership is "divide and conquer"...Oh, brother...Have you no concept of what the corporations are doing to your world? When was the last time you looked at the food on your table and figured out how it got there? Those agri- corporations" may have provided the food at the greatest economic benefit to you, but they still have huge profits that will not be shared with the mexican laborors...and the food they provide, looks awfully like Genetically Modified Foods, with chickens whose breasts are so big, they can not even walk after a few steps...YOU are eating a genetically modified chicken....what will you turn into....And we havent even talked about "Pink slime"....nor the toxins of where your farmed fresh Salmon are coming from... Nor Wall Street and the banking system that caused our current problems on Bush's watch....And you think that American Corporations are YOUR FRIENDS????

Divide and conquer, eh? What about your insurance? If we were all to be lumped into ONE insurance pool, we would be bemoaning about how our rates would be going up 3% at half our currrent rates...Instead, insurance companys went to the employers, and said "Hey, you don't have many people using health care because most of your employees are young. Get rid of the older people, and we can lower your health cost even more." Yeah, well, that's the dirty side of capitalism...and it's not equality, but dividing and conquering thru age.

Well, I am tired of being taken advantage of by corporations. I'm tired of big politicians who take moneys from industry lobbists to screw over the little guy...Don't you think that corporations have had it too good? Aren't you tired of getting economically screwed by corporations who don't even pay the same rate as you do? Or those millionairs whose corporate rate of tax is less than yours? I am tired of that c*r*a*p*

Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve.

Thank you for this RIchard. You know - Rush is looking better all the time. I think marriage has been good for him. I know if I had a good lookin' wife like he has - I would probably look pretty good also. I am sure I would have a cool smile like his also.
