Administrators Gail Posted April 18, 2012 Administrators Posted April 18, 2012 Yeah- Bald Eagles are SO BIG! I recently saw one in a free-range chicken yard standing on top of a kill. I thought, Way cool- they put a fence to keep coyotes out but they couldn't fence the top of such a big yard! Once I also was watching a boy fishing in Mill Lake (right in town by where Stan used to live). He caught a small fish and threw it back into the lake and a few seconds later- SWOOSH!!! A Bald Eagle came down and picked up that fish. I'm so happy that these Eagles were brought back from almost being extinct! I never saw one until I had reached adulthood.
