Program co-ordinator Lavenia Chand said it was devised to keep students busy during the First Term break. "Our aim is to keep them from mischief and what better way then this to keep them occupied," she said. "Students are taught art and craft and they have Bible studies which will help them grow spiritually as well as physically," Mrs Chand said. Secondary and primary students and pre-schoolers are attending the program. "Coming to this program has really helped me," Eva Tupou a Form Three student of Gospel High School. "It improved my craftwork and I have learnt a lot during Bible studies. "The things I have learnt here will help me in my daily work," she said. Over 150 students from Nabua Secondary, DAV Girls College, Tacirua Primary and Tacirua Indian School attended the program, which ended yesterday. The students we each given a certificate of participation. "The certificate will tell students they have achieved something," Mrs Chand said.
