I have been out of school for quite sometime and don't write very often. I once wrote 'weather' instead of 'whether'. Now I knew the difference, that one just got behind me. My friend was very quick to point that one out, but she deals with the printed word everyday. Recently I just looked up the difference between 'then' and 'than'. Very interesting stuff. I really do thank the 'grammar police', they just don't have to be mean about it. Quote

People don't always experience it that way... I'm getting better at discerning when it's wise to refrain from being helpful! And, of course, brain+keyboard+fingers often get confused even when brain alone knows what it wants to say! For some reason mine often switches 'to' and 'the' in sentences. Quote Truth is important

I don't tend to correct others though, because 9 times out of 10, "People don't always experience it" the way I do. I have a couple of Grammar Girl books as reading material in the bathroom. :) Quote
