CoAspen Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 What! Bite the hand that feeds you! I'm shocked, truly shocked. Mixing religion and politics......isn't that the American way when it becomes time for election? Even SDA's loose their cool when politics rears it's uglier head! Quote

Mixing religion and politics......isn't that the American way when it becomes time for election? Even SDA's loose their cool when politics rears it's uglier head! Problem is, whose feeding who? Last time I checked, the government gets it's food budget from the legalized extortion of the very people it then tells how they can or cannot use the help that they offer to "give" to them. Quote

Not even very consistent with our own SDA acceptance of tax monies. One has to wonder just how much thought they've actually put into the issue? The government wants the benefits that only the religion can effectively give only without allowing the religion part.So it extracts tax dollars from the religious in order to administer secular social programs that are less than half as effective as the same religiously run programs that the government now demands be funded by the religious at their own expense, or else!I'm going with the RCC on this one, not Counselor Steed.
