cricket Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 How many umbrellas do you own? Are you ever at a loss for an umbrella? Do you have a favorite umbrella? Quote
Administrators Gail Posted April 26, 2012 Administrators Posted April 26, 2012 I have one in my car that lies on the floor in the back. I don't miss it and I rarely even use it. The rain doesn't bother me. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Administrators Naomi Posted April 26, 2012 Administrators Posted April 26, 2012 Two in house, one or two in truck, a couple in office ... all relatively unused. Favorite is the one I find handy and the wind doesn't rip apart. Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
Administrators Gail Posted April 26, 2012 Administrators Posted April 26, 2012 Yeah, there is nothing like an inside-out umbrella to reduce one's dignity! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
cricket Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 I didn't even answer my own question! LOL So, we have 4 people in our home and 8 (or more umbrellas). My favorite is one of the golf umbrellas my husband got from work 15 years ago, but it's never handy! I usually end up with the smallest umbrella and give the other ones to my kids. Wonder how many umbrellas go unused most of the time? Quote
Liz Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I have one, don't ever use it. Quote For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Mat. 16:26Please, support the JDRF and help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Please, support the March of Dimes.
Dottie Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 My hubby has one he uses from his car to the office (sometimes). I carry three in the car: one large one which I hardly ever use, because it is old and stained; one small one ; and one that the wind doesn't bother. I use the little one when I am alone, the large golf one when I get Sonny from the bus, and the medium one when we go to a store together. When it rains here, it's usually hard and unpredictable. GreatLakesGramma Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I don't really know how many are in my home, as I don't know how many my son has, but I do definitely use mine. I can't see through my glasses if the lenses are covered with raindrops. Besides that, it makes a good shield between me and a growling dog when I'm out walking, especially if I push the button for it to snap open on its own right in front of him. They tend to back off and keep their distance when that happens. Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26. I have a winter coat - does that count? lol Not in the summer I guess! Quote "People [rarely] see...the bright light which is in the clouds..."
