Hi everyone,

I thought I ask for your help.

My wife has lyme disease. It's a serious disease which can have different effects on different people. Usually it's cured with antibiotics but if they are late then it's bad news. It damages the nervous system, can cause skin and heart problems and arthritis etc. My wife has all those and It's been going on for four years.

It is not going better. She cannot sleep and her stomach is already sick from taking pills. She also has joint pains. Doctors do not help as they don't know what to do and some of them even think she is making this all up.

Her joints get worse when the weather is cold. We live in Estonia, so most of the time it is cold here. Some doctors and some people have suggested that the best thing to do would be moving to a warmer location where there is a lot of sunlight.

We don't have savings to go for a long vacation. We are pretty much stuck here. They only way would be getting a job abroad and move.

So I am asking your help. I have an IT background - a former graphic designer and team leader of a designers team. I also have some project manager skills (current job). But I also have been working as a car mechanic and I know how to use tools. Farm work is fine too.

I am 34 years old and my wife is 26. We are both SDAs. My wife has been for about 15 years and I for about 3-4. I am a Sabbath school teacher and so was my wife before getting sick.

Any location is good which is warm most of the time and close to ocean.

I can send my CV and I am sure I can get a confirmation from my local church that all I say is true.

Well mac you should get online to some of the career websites and fill out a resume or if you find the job in the US you want send them your resume or call. As far as weather, that depends, do like it hot and humid than Florida is your best bet. Its warm all year around. Dec, Jan and Feb can get cool. If you don't care for the humid weather but like the dry heat than Arizona area would be good.

Sorry Mac, can't help. My husband's been the IT field for 20+ years. He's been unemployed for the past 5 months (so far). No leads. Good luck!

Mac, I want you to know I understand about Lyme disease. It's a terrible malady. My son has a close family friend who has the disease. She has been sick for 10 years or so with it, and some days she has no energy at all. Other days she is able to get up and go to church, but she never has enough energy to do housework. She has four children, and they've all started taking over the housework for her. She's fortunate to have a good husband who is employed so there is food on the table, but she doesn't have a good quality of life. They're good Adventists, and they haven't given up their faith, but to tell the truth, that disease has a long history of making people invalids for life.

I think it might be difficult for you to try to emigrate to the U.S. The immigration procedure, plus the trouble of packing and moving, would be a terribly difficult burden on your wife, I'm afraid. Actually, from what I've heard, that temperature of the weather outdoors -- or the climatic conditions -- don't seem to make much difference to the sufferers of Lyme disease.

I don't want to discourage you from looking for a warmer climate somewhere. Perhaps elsewhere in Europe. But to try to immigrate to the U.S. would take many years, and would be very stressful, I'm afraid.

God bless you in your search. I predict good IT jobs are available in Europe -- maybe even more available than in the U.S.

Blessings on you. Keep praying.

Might be worth thinking about Australia: Queensland, where I live, is warm and close to the ocean. Australia also has much less unemployment than many other countries at the moment. Seek.com would be the place to start with a job hunt.

You may want to try some 'Original Wild Greek Oregano Oil' - 2 drops in a cup of warmish water 1-2 times a day for awhile.

Some what sez that it is the Biblical 'Hyssop', as in: "Cleanse me oh Lord with hyssop."

Anecdotal, but for what it's worth: I had cancer of the sinus cavities for a period, during which time doctors tried different avenues of cure - including one which cost $300 per regimen of 10 pills... Doctors decided to operate, but first warned me that there was a good chance I might lose my eyesight in a particular eye - or get meningitis. Not good.

I decided to think upon it first. Whilst thinking, I ran into a yard clearance where there was a small vial of 'Original Wild Greek Oregano Oil' and a small bottle of same in capsules - which I ended up getting for free. The oil was turning rancid, but I tried it anyway - having heard that it was the Biblical Hyssop. Within two weeks my cancer was in complete remission and never returned (knock on wood).

Told a friend of my experience and she purchased a small vial of the oil ($35) for a nagging congestive bronchial passage - and was cured of the ailment which she'd had for years.

A lot of 'generic' oregano oil has since appeared on the shelves of 'Organic' stores - but haven't heard much praise for them.

The oil I used can still be purchased Online, I think... however, mind, it's still anecdotal.

Per the need for sunshine - you may want to consider the purchase and use of a full spectrum lamp for sunlight until you actually move to a warmer climate.

Good luck.

Dear Mac. So sorry about your wife and all the health challenges. If I were to recommend a warm pleasant place to live - I would recommend the State of Oregon in the USA.

Only 9 inches of rain a year and 300 days of sun per year. Nice warm dry (non humid) weather.

Yes, some may say that Oregon has a bad rap as far as weather. But just ignore that. It simply is not true. Like most places - you can find both good and bad areas.

Dear Mac,

I can either put the information in a post on the forum or send you a PM for what could be the best news you could ever get re: Lyme disease and how it can be reduced to a minimal annoyance. Feel free to get in contact even by email if you'd like.

Yes, please post it here, so others can read it too.

First I'll give the bad news. For the normal "working" person, the initial cost is not cheap, and it is not FDA approved. But when one considers that if it proves effective, the medical costs saved can be astounding. And we've found when used prudently, there are little or no adverse side affects.

And it's not a panacea but it does give a free information kit with DVD to help you make a decision along with a 90 or 60 day money back guarantee should you be dissatisfied for any reason.

I don't sell them but if you decide to get one, since we've already purchased one, we can get any others we buy, $500 cheaper than a new customer.

Here's the URL for the initial contact we had. In looking for alternative ways to solve some of our own health problems, we ran into a couple of information sources that said the device, when forced off the market by mainstream medical avenues, set the medical industry back 100 years.

We have the 101 model, not the Gold Standard. We've had it for about 4 months and wouldn't trade it for a personal doctor, not to mention we probably save about $6,000 a month for the trade off. LoL

BTW, it doesn't replace or make-up for a healthy living style.

P.P.S. My wife's physical therapist says he has an MD who cured his Lymes disease with it. I never met the man (the MD) and of course he wouldn't want to give his name as he could lose his license if found touting a non-FDA approved device.

LifeHiscost,

I am sure you mean good, but I must say I am VERY sceptical about these kind on things.

I do agree that there is much that the science has not discovered. I also agree that it would seam but logical why mainstream medicine wants to push out those who actually cure. I totally understand this and I totally agree this is happening.

But it seams to me that people who are dealing with those kinds of energy treatments are typically in New Age religion. These are people who directly communicate with spirits and Satan himself.

Maybe I am wrong, but I choose to stay as far as I can from these apparatuses.

Aren't the dry desert climates like are found in the Southwest U.S. helpful for controlling lymes?

Hi mac, sorry to hear about your situation. I have no employment or toasty climate to offer. Of course it's pretty important to have an accurate diagnosis, not so easy with Lyme disease. Here in Québec, Lyme disease was not recognized by the government health agencies, so no diagnosis protocol, no treatment regime. Quite sad for a fully equipped health service only a few hundred miles from Lyme, Connecticut. Ground Zero they say. It's possible the warmer winters have allowed the Lyme-carrying ticks to migrate northwards.

To my limited recollection, specific Western Blot tests would indicate if Lyme Disease antibodies were present (from Borrelia burgdorferi carried by deer ticks). That was about ten years ago. See the website below for more current info. A farmer some miles away had symptoms for three years when I first met him. He was 24 with a wife and baby, had a complete gym in his basement. Both he & wife were bodybuilders. Older photos showed a build somewhat akin to Mike Tyson. When I first saw him he was thin and bed-ridden. He had seen many specialists, endured many scans & tests, I think even some back surgery. No one could figure him out. His mother couriered a blood sample to California where a positive Lyme diagnosis was rendered. He had much trouble finding an MD who would treat him locally, as Lyme Disease was not recognized as a Québec problem. But he had been bitten on the calf by a tick when cutting firewood and over three years the symptoms progressed up his body.

Eventually he was treated with a long regime of antibiotics, and largely recovered. I don't know of natural solutions, but I would adhere to the eight health laws and mess with garlic and other potent herbs. Hydrotherapy and massage may help too.

Eradicating Lyme disease from the body seems far preferable to controlling it. Much to learn.

The American Lyme Disease Foundation:

http://www.aldf.com/faq.shtml

Agatha Thrash M.D. is an SDA pathologist who treats patients without resorting to drug therapy. I believe she has written about Lyme Disease treatment but cannot locate the resource online.

Warmer climes may be more comfortable but may not alter the Lyme Disease trajectory.

God knows the answers. Blessings in your search.

Probably if I didn't know that electrical currents are part and parcel of the bodies health I would agree with you, Mac. Not to mention that I thought along similar lines as a new Adventist many years ago working as a literature evangelist, when visiting doctors who used radiology.

What I fear is that when you buy this from a person who speaks to spirits, you might get something (someone) extra.

If one is seeking familiar spirits I would have to agree with you. However if you are walking with Jesus as your constant companion, it is only (super)natural that a person would be running into people who might often be practicing perverse activities, all the while providing things needed by the pure or the perverse. It is hopeful your purity will be such a telling influence they would walk away from the experience better people than before meeting you.
