WHAT IF:

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

WHAT IF:

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge.

WHAT IF:

if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

WHAT IF:

If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love,

WHAT IF:

I gain nothing.

WHAT IF:

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Love drove Jesus to the cross and procured our Salvation. Had He not we wouldn't even be. He is Love or it couldn't have been done.

Surely we can love Him who is Love that we are even here.

Joh 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

He also loved the unlovable.... Christians generally say they love Jesus... it is loving the unlovable that can be tough.
