Administrators Naomi Posted May 28, 2012 Administrators Posted May 28, 2012 GAIL!!! LOL Thanks {a bit embarrassed} It wasn't really anything. I graduated High School in another state but because my mother, father, brother aunts etc were local graduates I helped with the Alumni Assoc during the years. Sat night they had a banquet for all graduating classes. The President gave some stats that I was half listening to and said in 96 years we have had three honorary graduates and named them. Tonight we have a 4th, and said a name ... the band began to play and my brother said "Sis stand up they want you on the platform" Then I realized what was happening. They made me walk up someone put on a gown and cap and I walked across the stage and received my 'diploma' Fortunately speaking in public is easy for me, because I had to say a few words. It took a few hours to realize that it was an honor and I still don't feel it was anything deserved. Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
