bonnie Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Wonder what happened to my individual rights? If I choose to drink to much soda how does that become smething for the government to control? Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Quotes by Susan Gottesman
Guest Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Gov't has gone so far beyond it's intended role, that it is no longer a laughing matter. Something has to be done, and soon. What gets me is that liberals like Bloomberg are so stupid, that they actually believe this law will stop people from drinking too much soda. LOL There seems to be a complete disconnect from the reality of how humans function. This stupid law won't change anything, except to possibly make things worse. Anyone who want's more than 16oz. to drink will now have to buy two of them. So now he has 32 ounces instead of the 20 that he would have had otherwise. At this point, I think anybody who actually believes that bigger gov't is the answer to ANYTHING, is going to live to see just how foolish that belief was. Quote
