Overaged Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Man is one nature, but a trinity: body, soul and spirit. We have Quote: Body (physical)Soul (mental - mind, will and emotion) Spirit (God connection) In the Bible; how does this work? Quote "People [rarely] see...the bright light which is in the clouds..." (Job 37:21)"I cannot know why suddenly the stormshould rage so fiercely round me in it's wrathBut this I know: God watches all my pathAnd I can trust""God helps us to draw strength from the storm" - OveragedFaith makes things possible; it does not make them easy, Steps To Christ
Gibs Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 OV, And man will be resurrected either with his tendencies to continue in sin or not to. However he died he will be in the resurrecton. Yes the Father came and dwelt in a body the same as us, our body isn't the real you at all. Jesus will come and dwell in us with our spirit if our spirit will be subdued that He can. We must be broken first though. He must be the master of our "house" if we are to be His. It is the spirit given us that makes us a living soul. At death of this old body it returns to God to be returned in one of the resurrections. On your premise that man is a trinity I don't buy it, but go ahead and run it out I suppose to show God is the same. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
