Walking away from a 250,000.00? mortgage and credit card debt can substantially reduce your private debt.But that gets transferred to the banks/lenders etc. Hardly a rosy picture of the situation getting better. Locally many people have reduced their debt by walking away,renting much smaller living accommodations,letting their expensive vehicles be repossessed and driving much older cars.Food stamps and medical paid by government.
