CoAspen,

You seem to believe that it has been denied that EGW's inspired writings are infallible.

Remember, it has been explicitly affirmed that the SDA church does not hold one more infallible than the other:

Gerry(SDA) said: I'm not sure you are reading carefully what I am posting. Nowhere did I say that one is more infallible than the other.

Also, Adventist apologist has defended the claim that the SDA church holds both EGW and the Bible to have been inspired, and that there is no difference in the inspiration of the 2. Rather, EGW has a different purpose and has a lesser authority than the Bible.

My question is, how can the inspired word of God be less authoritative in one place than another, and what different purpose or role does EGW have, that the all-sufficient Bible does not have?

kind regards

Humans are fallible! Mans interpretation can/may be fallible. Inspiration is a separate issue. I would suggest a tighter def on both words before disparaging one or the other. I'm not into disparaging the church or EGW, but am concerned about accuracy. You seem to be doing a bit to much mixing on the subject.
