Here is the question to ponder: How does that plague of locusts know, whose leader is Apollyon and who have power to torment for 5 months, who has the seal of God and who doesn't? Windsor Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 According to Jon Paulien's good friend Ranko Stefanovic, in Isaiah 9, the prophet uses the metaphor of the tail with reference to the false prophets who deceive people with their false teaching. In Revelation 12:4, Satan, symbolized as a red dragon, sweeps away a third of the angels with his tail which likely symbolizes his own deception in causing his followers to rebel against God. As such we should view the fifth trumpet more in spiritual terms. Those who have the seal of God cannot be deceived by Satan's lies. Quote Remember Adventists Online?
