Very chilling news.

I marvel at how people say that we are progressing as a society when we see things like this. Technology wise, yes we are making progress, morally? Far from it.

Many of a SDA's were probably in line to see this movie at one location or another...probably not a few Pastors as well. If there was ever a time for a 'be careful little eyes what you see, be careful little feet were you go.' I would say it is now. If this happened at a church meeting, and my daughter was there, I would "feel" a whole lot better, than if she was at this midnight showing of a 'dark' movie. This was just a senseless act of horror. I am not blaming the victims, just saying it could have been avoidable.

My daughter just went through drivers ed. The instructors were walking us through some accidents that had made local news. Accidents were young people died. The police have to say so and so was to blame, caused the accident, or in one case 'it was an act of God.'

The instructors don't look at the accidents that way, they look at it as 'was it avoidable'. You can drive in a way that is perfect in the eyes of the law, and still put yourself and others at risk. The roads are a dangerous place to be, the average person convicted of driving under the influence, has probably driven drunk around 80 times before being caught. Its dangerous out there, drive defensively...LIVE defensively.
