Moderators Gerr Posted July 22, 2012 Moderators Posted July 22, 2012 Please, do not attempt to contact me in any way. Ever again. Gerry Cabalo has added the last straw to my association with anyone here on Club Adventist. YOU ALL WIN! Bye. Cricket, I am unaware of what I may have said to offend you! Whatever statement I may have said that offended you, I sincerely ask your forgiveness. I can with a clear conscience say that I try to avoid saying anything that may suggest malice. Obviously, I failed. I am truly sorry. PS I also want to apologize to others that I may have offended over the years. Quote
Moderators Nan Posted July 22, 2012 Moderators Posted July 22, 2012 Not sure if you will be reading this Cricket, as you are no longer on FB - or my list at least - and you are not accepting PM's....just saying that I have valued your input and view point over the years. Blessings for your future. Quote
Dr. Shane Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Wow! Cricket has been here for many years, although she changed her username a couple of times. She use to be on my MSN Messenger and we would chat there but that was many years ago. Maybe she will feel better and come back later. Some folks need a break. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Planey Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Perhaps this post in Theological Townhall, thread Meat At Potlucks could be the culprit. Just guessin'... Moderators Gerr Posted July 22, 2012 Moderators Posted July 22, 2012 That was in no way a suggestion that Cricket is a liar or intended to offend. The diagnosis of food allergies happens to be not an easy one to make. As a physician, I have seen patients who test positive on skin testing against certain foods and yet are able to eat them without an allergic reaction. The converse is also true, i.e. a person may have a negative skin test to a certain food, and yet may have problems when the food is eaten. I have a sister who also has this problem. Quote

Planey Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Gerry, I agree with you. I thought your reply was reasonable, from an experienced physician. But I couldn't find anything else recent. Who knows? Only cricket I think. I hope she comes back. Graeme Quote Graeme____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Woody Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 My goodness - if I got offended every time someone said something offensive to me - I would be in sad shape. Perhaps I am already in sad shape - but that would have made me worse. Personally - I echo the previous posts. We are all a bunch of misfits. (Hope that doesn't offend anyone) But that is the beauty of it. Not one is the same. And just look at all the different aspects that we can glean from here. jasd Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 >>We are all a bunch of misfits.<< Hey!--bite yor' tongue young fellow. Mebbe y'all, but not m'all. Just because I'm weird, scrued-up, think that I'm the only one here who has a handle on truths, etc - does not a misfit make me. Anyways..., hope that after sharing a very large rib-eye steak dinner with her husband and feeling belly-rubbing satiated and mellow, cricket will rejoin all you misfits and me, as I value her input. :) Quote
LifeHiscost Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Anytime one leaves, but most of all a member of the family of God and a part of the body of Christ, whether it is a logical or illogical reason, we all lose. I personally am going to miss you Cricket, and whether you choose to come back to the forum to spend time with those who love you, even if their lack sometimes makes it difficult to discern, may I suggest that I will pray that we can someday, here or in the kingdom, be able to talk over the reason you made the decision to leave. God blesses! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
