Perhaps most other conferences have decided to 'stick with organizational protocol' instead of telling the GC that they no longer have authority over Unions and Conferences and if the GC doesn't like it....TOUGH..... Nuff Sed

According to the manual the GC doesn't have authority over the unions in this regard. It is to the unions discretion, solely, as I understand it.

Laws and Rules and Procedures established are meant to be followed. Does one disobey the Ten Commandments just because it does not fit their preconceived ideas?
