The Psalms, word of God or not?

The Psalms are awesome. David IMO embodied the very package of what it was to be human and the poetry he wrote and is the collection now known as The Psalms feature some of the most beautiful spiritual writings I have ever read.

That said,

I see verses from the Psalms quoted here as though they were the words of a prophet, a priest, a spiritual teacher. David was a warrior, poet, and king. He was a man that deeply loved his God and expressed this love with both weapons and pen. I have no doubt that he had a very deep and meaningful relationship with his God and was deeply inspired by that relationship. But does this make his poems the actual word of this God?

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The great wisdom there came from the Spirit of God I'm sure.

1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
