Well; this "prophecy" does sound somewhat familiar, I know I have read it somewhere before, but i can't quite place it, yet.

My answer to your question though is that it really depends where I look if this has come true or not.

I am presuming that this is a non-Biblical prophecy; which is OK, and I expect that that may be one of your points here?

You know; it's really ironic, sometimes lately I see this coming true more on the forum, with certain ones, or in our churches, than I do elsewhere. Certainly, this text is reconizable in many places we look at.

Oh indeed it has been going on for a very long time. But that could be said for a lot of Biblical prophesies as well, at least in the eyes of the people that believe in them. There have been groups of people claiming that the end of times prophesies were unfolding for almost as long as there has been a Bible.

Just thought to add this one from Luke and the KJV of it. The Words of Jesus,

Lu 12:52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

OK; why is this the main point of this topic? What does it mean if there are "Different parts of the world, different era's of history and you have the same prophecies?"

Now that I look at this again, I do see these things as happeing all around us; I guess I am wondering if these things might not all just be observations? To me; some semblance of these things has always gone on around us. Why do you call this "prophecy?"

What it means is that not only the Christian God and his prophets make prophecies that are correct and fullfilled.

I look around and see these things happening as well. And yes to a degree they have always happened But I do not think that they have always been as prevalent as they are now. One could say that about a whole lot of Biblical prophecies as well. At least the ones that are not all shrouded in mystery and symbolism designed to have readers argue endlessly about the meaning.

I call it a prophecy because it was spoken as a prophecy. It was what was to come, not what was current. It is called Morrigans Prophecy. The first of two.

I don't think that's so odd. I remember even years ago taking psychology classes, and learning this about various religions having some semblance of "Trinity," in their God/s. Its actually a common thread of many religions.

You sir have asked the million dollar question!

There are a number of ways to look at that.

If I say given the numbers and stats that the Canucks are going to win the Stanley Cup (don't mock me!) its a prediction.

If I say that I recieved a divine revelation that the Canucks are going to win the Cup then its prophecy.

If <insert deity> says that something is going to happen we think its a prophecy.

But is it?

If I say that tomorrow I am going to move the 15 gallon Amur maples over to where the Tartarian maples and then I do it, did I make a prophecy? Or did I just act upon my word? Thats how I see the prophecy of deity for the most part.

Or

If I say that surely next year someone will mix up the Amur and Tartarian maples cause they look identical and it happens is it a prediction, prophecy or just stating the obvious? I see that in a lot of so called prophecy - human or deity spoken
