"The Conscientious Objector" on PAX TV

Dear Friends:

As you may have already heard, we are proud to

announce the National Television Premier of the

Award Winning Documentary "The Conscientious

Objector" on PAX TV, Memorial Day evening May 30th

at 9pm Eastern & 8pm Central time.

This is an unprecedented opportunity for our

entire Church to be a part of this special telecast.

Never before has the Seventh-day Adventist Church

had such a broad exposure to the entire Country and

we can all be proud that our Conference sponsored

this inspiring film. Now that this opportunity has

presented itself we need to get the word out to all

of our members and encourage them to participate and

show their support by tuning in to PAX where

possible.

I would like to ask your help in three specific

areas to get this word out:

1. If you are able, would you help play a very

important part by sending a special e-mail to PAX as

follows:

a. Go on line to paxtv.com.

b. Click on the contact window at

the top of the home page, scroll down to programming

and click the on-line link to

send a message.

c. Write an e-mail to PAX to let

them know how much you are looking forward to the

upcoming telecast and that you

plan to watch. Personalize it as much as you can to

express your feelings on this being shown.

Doing this will add incentive to PAX advertise and

promote the telecast more, in advance of the

program, giving it more exposure..

2. Do your part to ensure that this information

gets in to your bulletin AND announced from the

front for each of the next two Sabbaths

3. Finally, do something that I usually am

reticent to do....but in this case, it will help to

get the word out like almost nothing else can.

Forward this message to at least 10 e-mail friends-

and if you can, to everyone in your personal address

book.

Let's all get behind this event and be a part of

sharing our faith through the story of Desmond Doss

one of our own modern day spiritual Heroes. We can

make a difference if we band together in supporting

this inspiring film that has and will continue to

change lives.
