teresaq Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Why Gordon1? Why did she say that? Wasn't it for the same reasons that the church was not to unite with the temperance movement either? Ellen White herself said if ministers' wives were not paid and paid equally as their husbands she herself would pay them. So we see EGW is not against "equal rights" she was against uniting with the world in order to attain those rights.
