todd_vetter33 Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 NOW on the morrow as they were coming from Bethany, Peter was hungry, and perceiving a fig tree afar off having leaves thereon, he came if happily he might find fruit thereon, and when he came he found nothing but leaves, for the time of figs was not yet. And Peter was angry and said unto it, Accursed tree, no man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And some of the disciples heard of it.. And the next day as Jesus and his disciples passed by, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, behold, the fig tree which I cursed is green and flourishing, wherefore did not my word prevail? Jesus said unto Peter, Thou knowest not what spirit thou art of. Wherefore didst thou curse that which God hath not cursed? And Peter said, Behold Lord I was a hungered, and finding leaves and no fruit, I was angry, and I cursed the tree. And Jesus said, Son of Jonas knewest thou not that the time of figs was not yet? Behold the corn which is in the field which groweth according to its nature first the green shoot, then the stalk, then the ear—would thou be angry if thou camest at the time of the tender shoot or the stalk, and didst not find the corn in the ear? And wouldst thou curse the tree which, full of buds and blossoms, had not yet ripe fruit? Verily Peter I say unto thee, one of my twelve will deny me thrice in his fear and anger with curses, and swear that he knows me not, and the rest will forsake me for a season. But ye shall repent and grieve bitterly, because in your heart ye love me, and ye shall be as an Altar of twelve hewn stones, and a witness to my Name, and ye shall be as the Servants of servants, and the keys of the Church will I give unto you, and ye shall feed my sheep and my lambs and ye shall be my vice-gerents upon earth. But there shall arise men amongst them that succeed you, of whom some shall indeed love me even as thou, who being hotheaded and unwise, and void of patience, shall curse those whom God hath not cursed, and persecute them in their ignorance, because they cannot yet find in them the fruits they seek. And others being lovers of themselves shall make alliance with the kings and rulers of the world, and seek earthly power, and riches, and domination, and put to death by fire and sword those who seek the truth, and therefore are truly my disciples. And in their days I Jesus shall be crucified afresh and put to open shame, for they will profess to do these things in my Name. And Peter said, Be it far from thee Lord. And Jesus answered, As I shall be nailed to the cross, so also shall my Church in those days, for she is my Bride and one with me. But the day shall come when this darkness shall pass away, and true Light shall shine. Quote
todd_vetter33 Posted October 5, 2012 Author Posted October 5, 2012 I always wondered why the bible portrays mixed testimony concerning the cursing of the fig tree event. Turns out the testimony of Jesus cursing a fig tree is simply false added in by the Roman councils to cover up the prophecy found in this text that was directly related to them. Jesus would not have cursed a fig tree that was not due to produce figs in the spring just prior to the Passover. That testimony always made no sense. I could totally see Peter doing this and the lesson Jesus teaches him is profound! Knowing that this testimony is factually ancient; it's amazing to see how much the Christian world past and present applies to the Prophecy highlighted in blue. Quote

todd_vetter33 Posted October 6, 2012 Author Posted October 6, 2012 So you believe the apocryphal text is legitimate but the canonical text is not? I believe the 4 Roman cannon Catholic Gospels are just as legitimate as any other ancient recording. They are doctrines of Men. I belive any ancient recording that captures any words spoken by Jesus accurately is scripture. Rome put your bible together. Your bible has many issues you are likely not aware of that causes you to break the law just by claiming your bible is word of God. For Example: this below chart lists factually where your bible illustrates false testimony when bible gospels are cross compared with one another concerning events in the last week of the life of Christ. If the gospels are lying about when events occured, then the gospels are not speaking according to the Law and Testimony Jesus fulfilled or asked us to fulfill if we are to love God above all. our neighbor or self. Jesus promised a perfect spirit that would bring to rememberance all things he said. Do you have that in your 4 cannon gospels? If yes, then why are Matt and Mark confused about what Jesus said for the two verses illustrated concerning "in three days" VS "after three days" Word of God/truth does not change yet just between these two ancient recordings we see a change. So the recordings themselves are not word of God in the pure form unless the words recorded are accurate 100% The time line presented on this chart is the time line of the original Passover lamb. It's the base line for truth to see through the confusion illustrated by the doctrine of Christians they claim are perfect dispite factual evidence to the contrary. This next page illustrates why the G-12 text may have more credibility than the 4 bible gospels combined and it may in fact be the source document to the 4 bible gospels. G-12 text is the only verifiable ancient text that Can be used to illustrate that Jesus fulfilled the 4 day prophecy of the lamb being chosen by the people on the tenth day and killed 4 days later. It is also the only ancient document left that testifies that Jesus was 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb. The bible gospels have been broken up to a point where it's difficult to see 3 days and 3 nights but all the inforamtion is there. The G-12 text is not perfect, but neither are the 4 bible gospels. Despite the lie told by Christians who believe the 4 bible gospels were inspired by God. Lying for God is not how Jesus wanted his gospel to be spread through out the world. Scripture is truth. Recordings of Scripture are any recordings that accurately quote the spirit of truth or chronical accurately when an event occured. There are five different Ancient historical recordings for when the annointing in bethany took place prior to the Cruxifixion. The book of John says Six days before the Passover. Matt and Mark claim two days before the Passover. Third century Bishop says Evening of Ten Nissan. G-12 text states Evening of the Sabbath before the Passover. Which ancient recording is scripture for this event? The Bishop and G-12 Text In my opinion since they bare witness to the truth concerning the event placing jesus in the right place at the right time to be chosen by the people on the tenth day. Are Either document that those fragments of truth are taken from full truth front to back? NO. So Apocryphal writings have as much credibility as the 4 bible gospels. They are all truth mixed with lies. Good seen and bad seed in the same field. The spirit of truth that was promised the true worshippers of God is where you will find truth absolute from the source of truth. Quote

Notice that it says the fig tree was full of leaves. Who has ever seen a fig tree full of leaves in the beginning of spring? I never have. In fact, a fig tree is used elsewhere in the Gospels as sure indicator of when spring starts. Jesus said when it BEGINS to bud you will know summer is on its way. But here is something inexplicable through natural science. But notice something more inexplicable to nature's law. This fig tree has no fruit! A fig tree’s early figs develop at the same time as the leaves begin to bud. The early figs actually appear BEFORE the leaves open. I have carefully watched my fig tree this spring specifically with this passover encounter of Jesus with the fig tree on his way into Jerusalem, in mind. Now if anyone would find a fig tree completely out of season full of leaves, and he is hungry, he will surely respond, Ah, a fig tree like manna from heaven, friends, let's feast! But what he finds, is only SHOW, no fruit! False promises, O Lord, we will do everything you tell us to do; we'll show you, you can trust us. Then you hear this false gospel preached from just about every podium on earth every Sabbath and every Sunday, and practiced seven out of seven days every day of every week. I can but I must will to; I will, but I must just have the faith! [Not, I can't no matter how determined I will; I don’t despite and in spite of the fact I believe.] The fig tree stood as emblem of self-righteousness; of the religion of works; of will-worship ... just LEAVES ---the very counter-grace lie of the devil in Eden. Satan confronted by his Nemesis : the fig tree in the last week of the Son and Lamb of God our Passover. Jesus curses the tree; and the tree dies, because the tree lied to its Maker and pretended improvement on his Keeper’s schedule and method. At last ... I now believe, I understand that Scripture : Christ on his way to enter into his SUFFERING, Christ The Passover Sufferer of the wrath of Yahweh, already, is 'Christ triumphant in it'. The fig tree illustrated the work and victory of Christ. Depends on the year Jesus was crucified. I have been to isreal and seen fig trees full of leaves as early as April where the figs were not yet ripe to eat. In 30 AD Jesus was Crucified on 5 April. This testimony fits perfectly. not sure where your fig tree is located Geographically on the earth, in Jerusalem you will find leaves on trees at the time of Passover since this is a warm region of the earth. Yep, but not sure how alert one has to be to miss this one? Correct. One simply needs to look at the Christian world to see how this recording of prophecy applies. What I find most twisted about the Christian world is that they claim jesus did not come according to the flesh. And they claim jesus fulfilled prophecy but then illustrate that he did not fulfill prophecy. It does not get more twisted than that! Turns out Jesus did come according to the flesh and He may have fulfilled time specific prophecy dispite Christian claims to the contrary. I can't believe Christians will claim Joseph was a step father to Jesus even when there is not one single scripture to support such a claim. For true ancient testimony that Jesus came according to the flesh, See below. To know Jesus did fulfill 3 days and 3 nights. See prior posts and charts in the threads divoted to this topic. Quote
todd_vetter33 Posted October 6, 2012 Author Posted October 6, 2012 This is another one of my Faviorite Scriptures held back from Christian cannon that also Professes the current state of the Christian world and the spiritual famine the Christian world suffers from. I love that the darkness of human speculation built on a book will not last forever. Truth via the spirit of truth will one day roam the earth when men stop making Gods for themselves which are not gods! Quote
todd_vetter33 Posted October 6, 2012 Author Posted October 6, 2012 So you believe the apocryphal text is legitimate but the canonical text is not? Lets look at apocryphal writings in comparison to bible testimony for a single event to see if one has credibility over another. The below recordings attempt to accurately portray Scripture (Words of truth spoken by Jesus) when Jesus was before Pilate. Knowing the Christian claim that the bible gospels are alleged to have been inspired by the spirit of God and it's recorded in the bible, that the spirit of truth brings to rememberance ALL things Jesus said, Which of the below Six Ancient recordings accurately reflect the Event of Jesus before Pilate and the words spoken between the two? let me know what you come up with as the recording of truth. If you find yourself a little confused. Ask God! If you are of the truth, you will HEAR God's voice and God will tell you which recording is in fact the truth for this event according to three of the recordings below. Matt 27 11 Now Jesus stood before the governor. And the governor asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” Jesus said to him, “It is as you say.” 12 And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing. 13 Then Pilate said to Him, “Do You not hear how many things they testify against You?” 14 But He answered him not one word, so that the governor marveled greatly. Mark 15 2 Then Pilate asked Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered and said to him, “It is as you say.” 3 And the chief priests accused Him of many things, but He answered nothing. 4 Then Pilate asked Him again, saying, “Do you answer nothing? See how many things they testify against you!” 5 But Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate marveled. Luke 3 Then Pilate asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered him and said, “It is as you say.” 4 So Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, “I find no fault in this Man.” John 33 Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” 34 Jesus answered him, “Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this concerning Me?” 35 Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What have You done?” 36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” 37 Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” 38 Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, “I find no fault in Him at all. Gospel of Nicodemus And Pilate went in again into the judgment hall and called Jesus apart and said unto him: Art thou the King of the Jews? Jesus answered and said to Pilate: Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? Pilate answered Jesus: Am I also a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? Jesus answered: My kingdom is not of this world; for if my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have striven that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Pilate said unto him: Art thou a king, then? Jesus answered him: Thou sayest that I am a king; for this cause was I born and am come, that every one that is of the truth should hear my voice. Pilate saith unto him: What is truth? Jesus saith unto him: Truth is of heaven. Pilate saith: Is there not truth upon earth? Jesus saith unto Pilate: Thou seest how that they which speak the truth are judged of them that have authority upon earth. And Pilate left Jesus in the judgment hall and went forth to the Jews and said unto them: I find no fault in him. Gospel of holy 12 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again and called Jesus and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me; what hast thou done? Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world, if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servant’s fight that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now is my kingdom not from hence. Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a King then? Jesus answered; Thou sayest that I am, yea, a King I am. To this end was I born and for this cause came I unto the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate said unto him, what is truth? Jesus said, Truth is from heaven. Pilate said, Then truth is not on earth. Jesus said unto Pilate, Believe thou, that truth is on earth amongst those who receive and obey it. They are of the truth who judge righteously. And when he had heard this, he went out again unto the Jews and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all. And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders he answered them nothing. Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not, how many things they witness against thee? And he answered them never a word, insomuch that the governor marveled greatly, and again he said unto them, I find no fault in this man. I love that when we actually receive the Gospel of Jesus in spirit and in truth as the true worshippers of God are to be, will be able to HEAR God's voice in stead of just reading about the men of the past who did. Q.E.D. Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 "A diligent student and an earnest seeker for truth, he had received the gospel from the Greek Testament of Erasmus. He fearlessly preached his convictions, urging that all doctrines be tested by the Scriptures. To the papist claim that the church had given the Bible, and the church alone could explain it, Tyndale responded: "Do you know who taught the eagles to find their prey? Well, that same God teaches His hungry children to find their Father in His word. Far from having given us the Scriptures, it is you who have hidden them from us; it is you who burn those who teach them, and if you could, you would burn the Scriptures themselves."–D'Aubigne, History of the Reformation of the Sixteenth Century, b. 18, ch. 4." (Great Controversy 1911 edition, pages 245-246) Sounds like the Papacy thought the Bible was the very Word of God since they would have blotted it off the face of the earth if God would have allowed. Q.E.D. Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Tyndale's Preaching "Tyndale's preaching excited great interest; many accepted the truth. But the priests were on the alert, and no sooner had he left the field than they by their threats and misrepresentations endeavored to destroy his work. Too often they succeeded. "What is to be done?" he exclaimed. "While I am sowing in one place, the enemy ravages the field I have just left. I cannot be everywhere. Oh! if Christians possessed the Holy Scriptures in their own tongue, they could of themselves withstand these sophists. Without the Bible it is impossible to establish the laity in the truth."–Ibid., b. 18, ch. 4."(GC11, 246) Sounds like Tyndale thought the Bible was the Truth. Q.E.D. Gibs Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 That's how Jesus put Satan in his place, quoting, "it is written". The only fountain and foundation for truth, none other comes close. His Word is Spirit and Truth as His Spirit is with it and is discerned correctly only as His Spirit does the leading. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
