And lest we jump to conclusions, do you think she actually thought all those people were sitting on that chair she was on? Must have been a big chair. Sounds more like she was "feeling" the spirit of those past memorable characters the same as we might be moved to say at a particularly significant moment of a rendition of one of John Phillip Souza's patriotic presentations, that we could just feel the spirit of "our soldiers" planting the flag on Iwo Jima. However the video is still there at that link so then you can ask your eyes and ears what "they" saw. (As well as the many other source videos out there that are also showing at least 3 different events where Pelosi makes a similar claim - sometimes in more detail than others). Just a thought. Odd that if this is simply metaphor for appreciating the significance of the women's movement and progress in American History - that she "never experienced that before or since". how "odd" that she would go there.
