Our family has those in the military and some have had some pretty dicey embassy duty.Like anyone else in that position we were prepared as much as you can to get that call that know one wants. It would never have occurred to us that they would have been denied help that was so near by. Then to have one lie and dodge after another instead of information. Obama could not wait to blab Bin-Laden's death over and over taking as much credit as he possibly could and giving out information that never should have been made public.Didn't we lose some Navy Seals in retaliation? Now he can't even say when he heard the news The troubling part is that these guys either watched or listened remote to this ordeal for 7 hours as our guys were being killed and were calling in for help -- and getting no support at all!! What was the thinking!! And then to cover it all up - sweeping it under the rug with "oh it was just a spontaneous mob upset about a movie"?? As if this was not well thought out by the security on the ground or as if we had such poor partnership with the Libyan government that we could not get them to hold off a mob of 20 to 100 people -- given 7 hours to do it!! It appears that the Oct 17 militia that was ostensibly supposed to help protect that embassy - actually made the Navy Seals give up 3 terrorist prisoners that they caught during the fight.
