George Bush never fails to provide laughs.

First he defends indefinite prison without trial by rubbishing concerns about the American Gulag "It's absurd. It's an absurd allegation. The United States is a country that promotes freedom around the world"

Then he attacks Russia because

I found this statement to be quite hilarious.

I'm trying to remember how he said it. GWB does, after all, have a way with words ...

I heard the sound bite and don't remember any bells going off in my head at the time. Which leads me to think he actually got the word right in this case - dissemble, rather than disassemble. A minor remarkableness in itself.

Of course, there are those who think things in D.C. aren't what they're claimed to be. And those who think that in Gitmo they should be coming apart.
