bonnie Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Since I helped an elderly neighbor that really needed more help than I could give her I have been swamped with offers for aid.Some of course are the you pay me and I can get you,but a surprising amount are from government sites.No intent to be sarcastic at all but am strongly considering applying for all that I qualify for.Those living on SS have a good possibility of qualifying. 51% of the country approves of this.Check out in your area what is available.Maybe you have churches doing similar as we have here.No questions asked you can get fresh fruits,vegetables,and other basics as well as milk and butter.If I planned my trips accordingly I could reduce my grocery bill to about 15.00 a week. Even if you are doing fine and not going hungry there isn't any reason to not take what is there I don't need it to be comfortable but my neighbors have more than I do and I am to the place that doesn't seem fair. It appears I can have others pay for my gas bill if I agree to pay 9.00 a month.I qualify for a monthly rate of 14.00 for my electric bill. I have a couple of windows that may qualify me for free winterization including window replacements.My husband can take care of it and with planning we can purchase the windows. Frankly I don't see any reason any longer to go to the trouble.This is liberal policies and it would be convenient and a whole lot easier to believe Christ was a liberal and this is what he intended. Money available and must be used,requirements for food stamp allotment has been lowered.You may qualify. Please check it out,you may find many ways available to have others pay your way. Can the majority here be wrong? I am serious.I am so flat out tired of hearing "Oh the poor,Oh the poor" or you aren't Christian if you don't do or believe as they do. If you deny those that have cell phones with all bells and whistles,large screen TV's,cable,internet,purchase all the fast foods on your dollar etc and then demand more and more of your money you are somehow in the camp of the pharisees. I am getting tired and I know I have paid far more into the system than the younger families.I am having a tough time trying to justify being responsible. Was checking into SSD.I work from home and my wrist and hand are beginning to give me a lot of problems.I can change what I do and still keep working but why should I.SSD recipients have gone up dramatically the last year,I really am finding it hard to keep thinking a part of that shouldn't be mine.
