Members phkrause Posted November 27, 2012 Members Posted November 27, 2012 Berel and Shmerel urgently needed a few days off work, but they knew that the Boss would not allow them to take a leave, so they concocted a plan. Berel thought that maybe if he acted "crazy" then the Boss would tell him to take a few days off. So he hung upside down on the ceiling and made funny noises. A few minutes later the Boss came into the office and asked Berel, "What are you doing?" “I am a light bulb,” Berel replied. “You are clearly stressed out,” said the Boss. “Go home and recuperate for a couple of days". Berel jumped down and walked out of the office. Shmerel got up and followed Berel out the door, when the Boss stopped him and said, “And where do you think you're going?” “I'm going home too,” Shmerel said. “You think I can work in the dark?!” Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.
