Administrators Gail Posted December 5, 2012 Administrators Posted December 5, 2012 I just read in the paper today that Abbotsford, where I live, which used to be the #1 city for murders, is now one of Canada's safest cities to live. We had a real gang problem here with lots of shootings. The police have taken up the cause and have targeted schools with anti-gang propaganda and their efforts have paid off. It was so heart-breaking to read in the papers about young people being stabbed or shot to death. There were many execution-type shootings for a while.
