My question is : "How often has God made you Happy" ?

I've put it here so that people can address the Biblical aspects of the question.

I would like to find out what it is that makes you feel God has made you happy? And why is it that God doesn't do it more often?

May we be one so that the world may be won.

When I spend time with my Bible, I ALWAYS get a blessing! :)

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

God makes me happy when I worship Him. I'm not talking about asking Him for stuff or confessing my sins - I'm talking about just telling Him how incredible and amazing I think He is; or thanking Him for something I already asked for that He has given me. He usually answers with stuff like "you're amazing, too, Joe!" Or "shucks, I do that for all my kids!"

It also makes me happy to hear the great things He's He's done for others. We get to hear that a lot at our church; cuz a significant part of every Sabbath is testimony time.

Really? wow Joe, you are indeed amazing. :)

"The merits of His sacrifice are sufficient to present to the Father in our behalf." S.C.36.

Thanks, Sky! (assuming your post wasn't sarcasm). But I'm not that amazing, God is the one who is amazing! He just tells me stuff like that cuz He loves me. He loves you, too; and if you listen, He's telling you the exact same thing (except He probably doesn't call you Joe)!

If by happy you mean: a feeling or showing pleasure or contentment, or blessed possessing the favor of God, then that is MOST of the time!

thumbsup Yes indeed. We are his offspring after all.

I don't know what I mean. I stole the comment from another thread. The term was not mine. I just thought it might be an interesting discussion.
