Dr. Shane Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 I have stated this before and it ought not be overlooked. What do these studies consider a Christian? Someone who professes to be Christian? Someone who attends church 3 times/month? once/mounth? prays daily? reads the Bible daily? The internals of such studies would put the propper context on it. Moderators Bravus Posted June 7, 2005 Moderators Posted June 7, 2005 Even if we cut those stats in half, and Christians have half the rate of 'the world', that's a challenging thing for me: what is our religion good for if it doesn't make us better husbands and wives? Sure, in some of these cases we can blame one partner or the other (not that that's ever useful), but these stats also don't include the christian couples who stay miserably married because they think they have to... It's a tragedy, and one the church ought to be working a lot harder at addressing than it is, IMO. Quote Truth is important
