13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.

14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.

15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies.

16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.

17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.

18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.

19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.

20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.

21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.

22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.

23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.

Maybe we could direct some of these executive actions where it would do the most good.But of course the lawyers for the ACLU and Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton would find their heads exploding.

As alcohol related deaths/injuries and destruction are far more common let's concentrate on penalizing the responsible alcohol user. For the first purchase of alcohol you get fingerprinted and then are limited to one in a 24 hour period.

Alcohol is unnecessary and has killed thousands needlessly.

Dr's should be required to ask if patients have children that are in gangs.If they come from a broken home.Have their children used drugs

As gangs cause far more homicides than the responsible gun owner,go after them with the same mindset they are the gun owner.

The black community should be far more interested in why blacks killing blacks has a very high impact on the homicide rate. Look at all gangs the same way.Crime waiting to happen.

Bonnie - #5 is an action already completed for those in Texas with a CCW license. My FBI background check took the mandatory 6 weeks to complete. Having passed that, I am officially listed with the FBI as one of the "good guys"...so why does my government, the media, and even some here, insist on villifying me???

I can only conclude that today, what is good is deemed evil, and what is evil is deemed good.
