Seriously, I know how. It can happen in 24 hours.

Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence.

Do tell...

"Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good."

"Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal."

"I love God only as much as the person I love the least."

*Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth.

(And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)

Only if someone would outlaw the good people. Oh yeah, Obama is working on that.

There aren't any good people that belong to the NRA?

Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this.

So, I guess you are saying that the NRA is full of bad people. hmmmmmmm

Might it have something to do with stripping away the NRA's First Amendment right to assemble and petition? A good ol' fashion coerced, "Agree, or else!"?

"The offense of the cross is that the cross is a confession of human frailty and sin and of inability to do any good thing. To take the cross of Christ means to depend solely on Him for everything, and this is the abasement of all human pride. Men love to fancy themselves independent. But let the cross be preached, let it be made known that in man dwells no good thing and that all must be received as a gift, and straightway someone is offended." Ellet J. I don't know if this is sarcasm or not ...

Tom,

You edited my post with the assertion that I made a political comment, but yet left standing the political comment standing that I was replying to. I find that pretty hypocritical.

Hang on. Everyone jumped on Planey, but it was OzarkWoman who first made the opposite claim: that changing the minds of the NRA had to do with 'Obama outlawing the good people', the implication being that the NRA is full of (all?) good people.

The NRA is, naturally, a group of people, and has about the same distribution of good and bad people as any other group (including the church).

Instead of each projecting our own political boogeymen, how about we just let Laz explain his plan?

I'm interested.

Truth is important

Here it is, I'm sorry my solution is a bit tongue in cheek.

“A Winchester Rifle should have a place of honor in every black home.” – Ida B. Wells Barnett.

Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence.

Pretty sad when someone is so wrapped up in skin color and that is always so important

Well, the NRA is fighting for that specific purpose. Our current administration wants to make certain Ida B. Wells Barnett's quote is never a reality.

You DO realize that gun control laws do not come from the conservative side of US politics, but from those who segment people into groups, then restrict those groups from getting firearms.

What today's conservative is, is the very definition of what the "classic liberal" was for the era of 1850-1900. Conservatism isn't about skin color, nor is it about the "maintaining status quo in refusing to progress". It is all about standing up for the disadvantaged, to make sure rights and opportunities are equal for all.

Think long and hard on that...

Of course only an educational midget would seriously take it that I meant that I meant that the NRA is all good people. I won't even debate this post because, I am sorry, but I see it as nothing but a bait post and nothing else.

As in the above, you have to admit that "some" need to project

their own bias and racism where ever possible.

Did you get that from Frank Luntz?
