my posistions on daniel 8 are:

1- "daily" is not sacrifice, nor Jesus either

2- "2300 evening mornings" is 2300 days, not 2300 years

3- "transgression of desolation" should be "transgression that maketh desolate"

4- "sanctuary" in verse 11 is a good translation but in both verses: 13 & 14 which is a different hebrew word than verse 11, sanctuary is misleading and should be "justified" instead. so to be clear, i have no problem with verse 11, but in 13 & 14's sanctuary should be justified instead.

i believe the sanctuary has parallel meanings, Christ is our place of safety, our sanctuary and our righteousness. ... Jesus said i go prepare a place for you. There is a real place.
