[ANN Staff] Dale Galusha will head the Pacific Press Publishing Association which is owned and operated by the Adventist church. A 10-year veteran sales executive will become president of the Pacific Press Publishing Association, a Seventh-day Adventist publishing house, on Aug. 11. Dale Galusha, currently vice president of sales and ministries, will succeed Robert Kyte, a 25-year veteran of Pacific Press who was its president for the past 16 years. Under Kyte's leadership, Pacific Press achieved and maintained financial stability while keeping pace with publishing industry technology. Kyte, an attorney, will move into full-time legal practice in Boise, Idaho, and said he retains a deep commitment to the continued success of the Adventist Church's publishing ministry and that of Pacific Press. In 1982, Galusha graduated from Pacific Union College with a degree in theology. He also holds a master of divinity degree from Andrews University. He served as an Adventist church pastor in California for 12 years, before coming to PPPA in 1995. Established in 1874, Pacific Press Publishing Association is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Its sole purpose is to uplift Jesus Christ in communicating Biblical teachings, health principles, and family values -- in many languages -- through printed materials, video products, and recordings of Christian music.
