aldona Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 Last week the news reported a siege at a school in Siem Reap, Cambodia - in which one child died and a number of others were held hostage but released unharmed. It looks like at least one of the children has parents working for ADRA in Cambodia. Moderators Bravus Posted June 19, 2005 Moderators Posted June 19, 2005 Yes, Kanika Cowled (that little girl) is my wife's niece. There was a photo of her in The Age and quotes from both her and her father (Sue's brother) David Cowled. David is married to Khean, a Cambodian woman, and they have three young children. One of them was home from school that day or she would have been in the kindergarten classroom that was held hostage. Thare'll all OK, but it's a scary thing... Quote Truth is important
