OzarkWoman Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 When it comes to Prophecy no other book or guide can come close to the Holy Bible, in fact it is the only source that has been, is currently, and will be 100% correct in it's predictions, because they are based on fact and most importantly the word of God. Not saying that there are no sources of true prophecy other then the Holy Bible, but what I am saying is that Biblical predictions have a proven track record. I am sure there are many folks over the years that were born before and after the Bible was written, that have received factual visions or predictions of future events from God and or his Holy Angels. One such prediction or prophecy that I have heard about over the years is called the: Prophecy of the Popes, by Saint Malachy Martin. This prophecy is quite amazing as it has been 100% true from the time it was given, to todays time, and if it continues to be right, then my friends, according to it and the Holy Bible, we have very little time before the rapture of Christs followers occurs and the antichrist comes to rule during the great tribulation. The prophecies of the Irish saint Malachy, the 12th century bishop of Armagh who predicted all the popes, have thrilled and dismayed readers for centuries. He has stated there will be only one more pope after the current one, and during his reign comes the end of the world. "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End." In 1139, then-Archbishop Malachy went to Rome from Ireland to give an account of his affairs. While there, he received a strange vision about the future that included the name of every pope, 112 in all from his time, who would rule until the end of time. We are now at the second last prophecy. A 12th century Irish prophet claimed Pope Benedict XVI would be the second to last Pope with the end of the world coming with the next pontiff's reign. His predictions are taken very seriously. As one report states, "In 1958, before the Conclave that would elect Pope John XXIII, Cardinal Spellman of New York hired a boat, filled it with sheep and sailed up and down the Tiber River, to show that he was 'pastor et nautor,' the motto attributed to the next Pope in the prophecies." As for the prophecy concerning the 111th pope, Pope Benedict, the prophecy says of him, "Gloria Olivae," which means "the glory of the olive." The order of Saint Benedict is also known as the Olivetans, which many claim makes Malachy's prophecies correct. The next and final pope then should be "Peter Romanus" St. Malachy gave an account of his visions to Pope Innocent II, but the document remained unknown in the Roman archives until its discovery in 1590. Many of the prophecies are spot on. For example, the one about Urban VIII is Lilium et Rosa (the lily and the rose); he was a native of Florence and on the arms of Florence figured a fleur-de-lis. Pope John Paul II is De labore Solis, meaning "of the eclipse of the sun." Karol Wojtyla, who would become Pope John Paul II, was born on May 18, 1920 during a solar eclipse. Peregrinus apostolicus (pilgrim pope), which designates Pius VI, appears to be verified by his many journeys to new lands. So is Benedict the second last pope? The Irish seer of the 12th century has said it will be so. Time will tell. There are a lot of popes and the list of them from the first in Saint Malachys vision to the last is very long, so for the sake of this article, I am just showing the last 8, you can easily see the whole list of popes by searching the net for: 'prophecy of saint malachy' According to numerous references, Here's the last 8 Popes in Saint Malachys vision: (including the endtime pope that is in office during the reign of the Antichrist): Title: Pius XI (1922-1939)(Intrepid faith) Title: Pius XII (1939-1958) Title: John XXIII (1958-1963) Title: Paul VI (1963-1978) Title: John Paul I (1978) Title: John Paul II (1978-2005) Title: Benedict XVI (2005-) The last pope, who will be in office during the reign of the Antichrist: Title: Peter The Roman Cardinal Peter Appiah Turkson from Ghana, is already called Peter the Roman in his village. The Holy Bible says no one knows the day nor the hour, but the Lord tells us to be ready, and it's looking more and more, like that day and hour is upon us. Quote

Not rapture as in the stupid movies "Left Behind", but I use the word because that is what and how most people understand it. I already said a couple times that no man knows the time. Hopefully the short space will be really short. I remember listening to a theoretical study done by doug batchelor and he suggested 3.5 years as the short space of the Beast restored.
