Guest Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 And ...how could I resist calling in with my 2 cents. He is a pastor , talk show host and frequent guest speaker/activist. Was commenting on how sermons are lower in scripture exposure, how people don't read their bibles much anymore, how many who call themselves or consider themselves Christians don't read their bibles very mush at all. He read from 2 Timothy and also from 2 Kings where Josiah read from the book of the law after it was found missing for so long. Also cheapo topical sermons verses expository type sermons were mentions.... Hey guess what???? I didn't even have to mention NFDMTTS..non fat dry milk typical topical sermons....he said it for me in so many words.. I did mention where seminaries are theological cemetaries or pharisee phactories....and about THE CRIME AND CLERGY CONNECTION or TRICKLE DOWN IMMORALITY I also mentioned where the preachers are religious gang leaders and theological dope pushers...he seemed to get a kick out of that and held me over the station break. I started out my 2 cents by reading Mark 8:38...and then mentioning that many preachers are deceived into thinking they love Jesus.....then went on relating the post resurrection episode where Jesus and Peter talked about his loving Him. I tailed off my comments by takking a hit at TOPICAL SERMONS..especially the approach where the pastor uses the holidays as the cues for his topic themes... like New year's day, Valentines day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas... Notice that 11 weeks can be filled just with these messages... You can really tell that a pastor is clueless when he fills his schedule this way.. For further study...look at the thread on this forumm. "TOPICAL SERMONS - A CURSE IN THE CHURCH" Even Charles Bradshaw is sensitive to this curse ..He wrote a book...Preaching in these times. Time for the SDA ministerial directors to get a clue and a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote

If there was not a demand for mind altering, euphoria stimulating substancses..the pushers would be out of business. What keeps the NFDMTTS supply in business is the world loving,churchian sons of satan and daughters of the devil who file into a sanctuary..get their cheapo religious fix , punch their sabbath time card, file out ..sometimes shaking the pastors hand with phoney approval and then come back the following week for another fix Quote
