Quote "As iron sharpens iron, so also does one man sharpen another" - Proverbs 27:17 "The offense of the cross is that the cross is a confession of human frailty and sin and of inability to do any good thing. To take the cross of Christ means to depend solely on Him for everything, and this is the abasement of all human pride. Men love to fancy themselves independent. But let the cross be preached, let it be made known that in man dwells no good thing and that all must be received as a gift, and straightway someone is offended." Ellet J. If we love the world, and the world is everything to us, the end of the world will bring mourning. i was impressed in the story of Russia, that the scientist said, these small meteorites cannot be seen approaching, they can come any time and will just strike with surprise any time. and it was utterly shocking. the power of that sonic boom stunned me just watching it. deb Quote deb Love awakens love. As well as the assurance of this promise to those who look to Jesus as their best and only hope. "Even so it is that Christ, having been offered to take upon Himself and bear as a burden the sins of many once and once for all, will appear a second time, not to carry any burden of sin nor to deal with sin, but to bring to full salvation those who are [eagerly, constantly, and patiently] waiting for and expecting Him."Hebrews 9:28 AMP God cares!
