Moderators LynnDel Posted July 3, 2005 Moderators Posted July 3, 2005 Talk about drive-bys, Stan - you've mastered the technique today. What is this about the end of the Review? I've just spent a great afternoon catching up on great articles. It can't be! LD Quote LD
darlene Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 No! I hope not. Though I'm not getting the Review at the moment other than at work, I would really miss it. What would they do, put the news on the Internet? My red eye is having a hard enough time today. Too much time on the computer and that would just mean more time........ Quote

Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted July 3, 2005 Moderators Posted July 3, 2005 I don't think so. Today on hopetv.org I heard an interview with William Johnsson who announced the new periodical, Adventist World (I think it's called), which will be printed in the millions and will be funded by the General Conference and sent to all the English-speaking world, especially including Korea. In fact, it will be printed in Korea I think he said. The first issue is due to come out in September. It's supposed to have "world" focus (articles by a Korean author who lives in Korea, writing about Korean activities, e.g.). He never said anything about the good old Review coming to an end. But then, again, he himself is retiring... and the editing of this new Adventist World will still be based in Silver Spring... so I just don't know. Maybe you know more than anybody else about this, Stan. Quote Jeannie

...Change is inevitable; growth is optional....
